Hanging blue screen, no wireless after install

Before I ask any questions, I'll post full specs so you all know what I'm dealing with:

My computer is a laptop:

Toshiba Satellite M70-DL400E

Intel® Pentium® M Processor 750 (1.86GHz, 533MHz FSB, L1 Cache 32KB/32KB, L2 Cache 2MB)

1014mb DDR2 RAM

Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 915GM with 128MB DDR shared video memory.

• 10/100 integrated Ethernet LAN,
  
• Intel Wireless LAN (802.11ag

I installed using JaS 10.4.8, MD5 checked out, installed good (although it took a few reboots to get to an install screen. A few times it gave me a hanging pale blue/green screen, roughly the same colour as the default background colour from Win95).

 

I wasn't 100% (still not) as to which version of the Intel Wireless driver I was supposed to install after the fact in order to get wireless working, but I installed the Intel PROset/Wireless 2100 rev 481 ones listed on the wiki, and now it will only boot to the pale blue/green screen that I got before.

 

From what I had read, this screen indicates a problem with the display driver, although it confuses me as to why the network driver would affect this. If wireless is not possible using my card (does anyone know what version it is? Google turns up nothing!) which is a good cheap USB (or PCMCIA, if it will work under OSX) adapter that is known to work well?

 

Also, since I am going to reinstall since I can't boot into an environment to fix anything, which flags should I use in advanced install in order to ensure that a) Airport is installed (which it wasn't last time, is that normal?), and that I can boot without having this damned blue screen?

Ok, I did a fresh reinstall, and after one reboot, it will not boot back up normally. Eh, I think I'm just going to go back to Feisty Fawn.
