Asmodeus
Hello all.....long time lurker, first time posting. I have a mediocre machine running OSx86 (pretty well actually). I have an Intel D865GLC motherboard with a P4 2.8 Prescott, coupled to a Leadtek 6600GT agp video card. I successfully upgraded to 10.4.10 and all is working very well (considering the meager computer it is on). I have just one question. Is it a problem that the video card is reported as PCI in system profiler? The only complaint I could make any mention of about the machine is game performance. I play the old, but still fun Quake 3....and it runs a LOT better in Windows than in OSX. In OSX it gets a timedemo of about 120 FPS, whereas in Windows it gets 210 FPS. I do not expect OSX to do quite as well....but to be hanging around half the framerates seems possible that something is wrong. Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I installed with JAS 10.4.8, and then installed Koolkal's 10.4.10 (with the SSE3)....it all just worked.
