I can only run it in safe mode. are there any limitations to this? (Fixed by deleting ATI Kexts.) 2. Sound Does not work. i've tried editting the kext files, but to no avail. 3. My onboard NICs dont work. neither of them, and im pretty sure they're made by different companies. System Profiler detects one, but i still can't connect. possibly a safe mode limitation? (This has now been worked around by throwing in a realtek 8139 NIC. i'd still like the onboard ones to work though) my specs are this: AMD Athlon 64 Venice with SSE3 Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939 Mobo nForce 3 Ultra (sound and NICs are controlled by this) Ati Radeon 9600XT (darn... no quartz on this one) 512 Megs RAM. thank you to all who may be of help (and those who aren't... i still thank you :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
