mikewaid Posted August 16, 2007 Share Posted August 16, 2007 I am having a problem with osx86 tubgirl 10.4.10 I have amd athlon 64(it supports sse3) ecs nforce4-a939 2 gb dual channel ram 300 gb pata hard drive(also 500 gb sata if i need it) geforce7600gt Heres my problem: I boot from the dvd..it loads up..the language selector pops up and I select my language and then partition disks and blah...select the nvidia driver...it installs all the way and restarts as its supposed to.... After it restarts I get stuck at the part after It checks the dvd drive for a boot cd(BOOT FROM CD AND I REMOVED THE DVD) and it just sits there and does nothing.. I think it may be that i'm installing onto a sata drive, as the readme says 'SATA DOESN'T WORK on nF430/MCP51 USE PATA'. So i'm guessing mychipset may not be compatible.
