Heres the thing- I just got the dreaded "'/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" error. I have tried diabling the sata till it was just my IDE drive and the DVD drive, and still nothing. My IDE is an internal one but has another partition on it. It also has the free partition I want to install Tiger to, set to NTFS, and just nothing gets past the error. I have trued diabling ethernet, sound, lan in Bios, no avail.

Also, I've burnt the file as in burning the iso, as you normally would with iso's, and when I study the burnt CD in explorer, it has only a couple things on it that I can view; boot, boot.cat, boot0, boot1h, boot1u, boothelp.txt, cdboot, and chain0.

I'm at my wits end!

I have an external enclosure I could use for my IDE if that would help?

I'm using the JAS 10.4.8 AMD INTEL SSe2 SSe3.iso

My setup is as follows.

ASUS Commando sse3 compliant motherboard

e6700 Core2Duo

Geforce 8800 gts

2GB DDR2 ram

Help!

Does ANYONE know whats going on here? What is different in what I am doing, to what thousands of others have done?? And is what I can see in explorer on the written disk correct, or should I be seeing loads of files and folders?? Can someone just check the JAR Tiger DVD they used to correctly install?
