VC-1 or H264 Player on OSX?

i have looked like hell for a player that uses multiple cores or that can read vc-1 and h264, i cant find nothing.

vlc plays h264 but only uses one core for what i understand so hd 1080p files stutter and stop droping huge amounts of frames.

vc-1 is even worst, vlc doesent play it and i cant find a codec, i have read somewhere that the latest svn from ffmpeg would decode vc-1, so i tryed to compile and install but have no idea what the outcome was, i just know that i had no errors but i cant play any files.

 

so my question is if anyone knows how to play vc-1 or where to get a build of the latest ffmpeg for osx, or if anyone knows of a mediaplayer that uses multiple cores.
