Hi im using uphuck 10.4.9i from demonoid (small install os OSX) I've to install a few times but always fail at the same point. It fails when its first loading up and looking for a bootable hard drive. It can boot from Dvds ok but if no dvd in inserted and it looks for a hard drive all I get is a flashing _

My current osx instal has these patches Nvidia, NTFS-3G, Network Intel 10/1000 and 3 applications.

Im using

ASUS NCCH-DL motherboard http://uk.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=9&...amp;modelmenu=2

2 2.8 Xeon CPUs

1gig of kingston RAM.

Thanks for any help

Jamie

While you install your version of Uphuck 10.4.9i you should load the Diskutil and erase your HDD and partition it. Now when you are partitioning you should select Options and choose the option below called Master Boot. In the Bios your HDD should be put on ACPI. This should fix the problem. Good luck ;)
