I think that it would be great if there is a post with all the issues and fixing for usb.

I´m gonna post everything I know, hope it´s useful.

Yeah I got my USB 2.0 External drive to work without having to do anything. Just plug it in and it's good to go.

Going to check out my camera next.

My camera and thumb drive both work fine.

The PSP and a HP PSC 2355 aio were recognised. As for the PSC, no drivers, just the card reader ports work.

It seems that storage devices work without any problem. Just plugging the in and that´s all. Personally I haven´t got any, so I could´nt have tested that.

Digital cameras also seem to work, they don´t show up in desktop, but images can be transmitted via ImageCapture. I have a Canon Powershot and A300 and it doesn´t work. I tried a Canon Powershot A55 on a friends laptop and ImageCapture worked perfectly.

For the mouses and keyboard, the only solution I have read in forums is this one:

You need to look for an option in your BIOS something to do with USB keyboard/mouse support.

Mine says "USB keyboard/mouse support via..." and it was set to BIOS. Changing it to OS worked a charm for me.

On some BIOSes it says "DOS support for USB keyboard"

I know it´s not a very clear solution, but seems that if your bios has that option it works. Just seems. I have neither usb mouse support on my laptop.

It would be interesting if you post here your issues and fixings with usb.

Marc.
