and tried to install it on my laptop

ati x200 video card integrated

80Gb harddrive

what i'm trying to do is install it natively, i formated my harddrive, and booted of the cd

i get the please press enter to install OSX or F8 for aditional options

i hit enter and it takes me to the apple screen and soon after it takes me to the please reboot now screen

i tried downloading maxuss kernel patches and patched the iso twice

once with the kernel cpuid patch

and once with everything

and i still get the same problem.

I'm running out of DVD's, hehe so if anyone is able to give me a hand, that would be much appreciated

thanks

Well, it's quite confusing, there is a deamoo image that contains an already VMWare installation, also there is a image for Developers Install DVD, but there are 3 builds out there, one for 10.4.1 and two more for 10.4.3.

There are Maxxuss patches for ISOs and kernels, you can not apply Maxxuss PPFs for ISOs, if you did you end with unbootable DVD/Images.

Also, if you are booting with 10.4.1 ATI Kexts has problems.

When you are asked to hit F8 do it and write -v to see a verbose output an see at which point your installation halts/crash.
