I currently have a 15inch al pb 1.67, but it is not getting me by when it comes to World of Warcraft anymore. I would invest in a powermac, but as we all know apple will be switching over to x86 chips soon. I been following the osx x86 a bit, and I know apple has some sort of protection out there on osx being placed on any pc. But it seems that it can be easily hacked. My question is, how strict is the final product going to be when it comes to installing the OS on a system not built by apple?

I would like to build an PC in January, but keeping in mind that I want to install osx on it when it is released. Should I wait around till it is released or just go ahead and build the new pc?

Thanks

Maybe you should wait until Apple release their PowerMac and you will be able to use Windows And OSX on the same computer. Sure, you can do it now with the DTK but if you're planning to buy a new computer in January it has non sense to built a PC now. We have no idea how hard it is going to be the security on the final release and no one is sure if it will work on other non-Apple PC.
