alvin777
Hi. I only have stereo on my hackintosh but I have a 5.1 speaker setup. Is there a driver to get 5.1 surround sound? My sound chip is a Realtek ALC883 (8 Channel Audio Codec). memnoch
You can either locate ALC883Audio.mpkg or AppleHDA.kext (the latter requires booting into linux, a livecd works, and extracting information first). Personally I use the first and it works relatively well.
