sandfish
Hey guys, thanks first and foremost for even reading this... I followed Vinc0r's (I meant xplOde's) guide to installing natively using Deadmoo's image, and everything has gone through okay up until this point. I can boot up past darwin okay, and also get past the grey apple screen, but the next screen is what im having all the problems with. It won't start loading the blue bar, it just sits and does nothing. I have a PS/2 keyboard, and a USB mouse. I tried unplugging the mouse and just using the PS/2 keyboard, I also tried just using the mouse and no keyboard. Then I tried booting into safe mode, no luck. I then tried the "platform=x86pc" switch and still nothing. Do you think I should purchase a USB keyboard and try both USB for the mouse and keyboard? Here's my system specs. AMD Athlon 64 Venice core (SSE3) 3200+ OC'd to 2.68 GHz 1GB matched pair Corsair XMS 3200 running Dual Channel 80 GB Western Digital IDE 7200 RPM 8MB Buffer Gigabyte K8NSC nForce 3 250Gb Motherboard Radeon 9600SE (also tried nVidia 4200TI) Onboard sound LiteOn 16x DVD-RW Internal 9in1 Card Reader I also have SATA enabled for my other drives... could this be causing issues? Let me know if anyone needs any more information. Thanks in advance for your time and help!
