uphuck v1.4i issues

I have uphuck v1.4i installed on my laptop just fine, no issues.What I am having problems with is my desktop.I can get it to boot off of the dvd and install, but upon restart and trying to boot from the hard drive, it pops up a screen telling me I need to restart.I tried booting into verbos mode and it loads and loads and then goes to a blank screen and my lcd goes into sleep mode and it just hangs there.I have a P4 2.4ghz, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, 1.2 gigs of RDRamI got it to boot. Now I just need to get my sound and ethernet card working.
