herbalb
Hi there. Everytime I start OSX I receive an error message because of my 2 S-ATA drives that are not recognized and I have to click on "ignore" for each of them. How can I remove these two drives (they are not even shown as one RAID but as two seperate HDs) so that OSX does not try to find them anymore?? I have installed OSX on a IDE HD. Those two SATA drives are RAID0 and I have Win XP installed on them so I do not need them in OSX. shaft0
It'd be a pain in the ass, but change them in bios so they're not active when you're not using them. herbalb
I made a dual-boot system so I cannot deactivate them permanently in BIOS as I need these two drives when I boot up Windows. I hoped there would be an easy way to deactivate them in OSX similar to the device manager in Windows where you can activate or deactivate all components you actually need/do not need.
