alvarito
Hello everybody, after spending a lot of time reading topics about the "still waiting for root device" problem, I tried almost every combination of IDE/SATA cables but nothing seems to work for me. Here, my computer: Core 2 Duo 4300 Intel D945GCCR 1GB Kingston Western Digital 160GB SATA IDE DVDRW LG First I installe Myzar DVD (1.4.4 with 1.4.5 patch). It installed fine but I cannot boot to OSX, just the "still waiting for root device" message. However, if I went to safe mode I could boot and get into OSX. So I downloaded uphuck 10.4.9 v1.4i and I cannot even go to the installation process, because I get that message before I could do anything (using -v). Right now I'm downloading JaS 1.4.8 because I read a topic saying that JaS dvd works flawlessly with my mobo. Anyway, I want to know if any of you could give me a hand with the uphuck dvd. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/59875-help-with-intel-d945gccr-myzar-145-uphuck-1049-v14i/ Share on other sites
