GMediATA
I use OSX 10.4.9 on an AMD system very well. Th only problem is my display resolution. Normally on Windows, I use 1152x864 @85hz with Philips 107P5 17 inch Analog monitor. (My display card is ATI x1600 pro) But on Mac's system preferences/Displays window, it shows 1152x870 instead of 1152x864, which the monitor only supports 75hz at this resolution.(Which is so disturbing for eyes) Is there a way to change this to 1152x864? BJMoose
Have you already installed the ATIRadeon1xxx.kext? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/59857-custom-display-resolution-on-osx/#findComment-425989 Share on other sites
GMediATA
yes, i've already installed ATIRadeon1XXX.kext. Display is perfect. But the monitor is 17", so 1024x768 is too big and 1280x960 is too small. The avarage was 1152x864, which is on windows systems. But on OSX 1152x870.
