twisted blatino
Hello errbody ok heres my story about 3 mo agot i installed 10.4.6, but it need ALOT of work, 10.4.7 gave me that still waiting for root device error. But after 2 wks of fidling with 10.4.6 it would only work in safe mode. So i gave up and removed it from my hdd. Now im tempted to buy a new imac after i saw the apple press conferance but want to know how osx is. So i downloaded the JaS amd intel 10.4.8 sse2/3 with ppf1/2 burned the iso as usual, and partitioned the drive. But when i boot from the disc i get the dreaded "still waiting for root device" with an apple keyboard timed out error so if ANYONE can help, please do, especially those who have similar specs here are my specs Hp pavilion ze2000 Mobile AMD Sempron Processor 3000+ 1.79 512 ram ( this is what i think is causing the prob) Ati radeon xpress 200m w/ of course ati southbridge i have 1 texas inst. cardbus broadcom wireless realtek ethernet pioneer dvdrw i have seen ppl with identical setups so if anyone who had this problem can help please do!! thanks, twisted Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/59849-help-with-installing-jas-1048-on-amd-laptop/ Share on other sites
