tbu3
Hi to all! I just updated my system to 10.4.10 from 10.4.9 and the kernel from 8.9.1 from 8.8. Everything else seems to work fine except for System Profiler. I was to verify if the kernel is indeed updated but it just opens for a split second and then closes. I get an error saying the application quitting unexpectedly. I tried the reopen option and the same problem happens. Is there a fix for this or an alternative freeware app that does the same thing as System Profiler? I'm running a dual boot windows xp and hackintosh on an IBM R51 (2887-58H). Pentium M (Banias) 1.5GHZ, 1.2 gig mem, 80 GB hard drive, intel 8xx video. Its originally a JaS 10.4.7 which I updated to 10.4.9 and now to 10.4.10. Any solutions or suggestions are most welcome. zedle
This solution is in a bunch of other posts - try using google. However, the solution is to copy a file (which you can find the name of via google) from 10.4.9 dmg to your 10.4.10 install and it'll work again. tbu3
I tried replacing the app with the one in my install disk but I still get the same problem. I don't know if my recent updates had something to do with it. Again any solution or a link to a solution or a replacement freeware app is most welcome.
