bl3s5in
I burned the uphuck image at the lowest possible speed, and booted it. I whent into the diskutil whiped my drive and made an os x partition. I install it and it seems as if every thing whent fine but when I reboot it I get the flashing courser. So I read the readme did those three things and the problem still wasn't fixed. For the heck of it I reinstalled just to see if it would work and it did not. Are there any other solutions to the flashing courser then the ones listed in the read me? Specs: Dell Dimension 2400 Nvidia FX 5200 128mb Gig of Ram Intel Celeron 2.40 ghz (if there are other specs you need to know just ask) Thanks to every one who posts in advanced. =)
thestevo
Try Hiren's boot CD and make sure that the partition is active and has the boot flag. If that doesn't work put in an OS X installation DVD that has an older version of Disk Utility on it, like 10.4.7 or .8 with the_defiant ppf, and reformat the entire drive with MBR selected. Then exit the installer with your partition created and put uphuck back in and install to it. Stevo
