colin
So. Back in the day of "Generic-Tiger" 10.4.1 I could pop a 3c900-TPO in this box (Abit Fatil1ty, AMD 64 3700+ San Diego, 1.5gb ddr) and have network access. I've tried a brand spanking new 3com 3c905 and the same 3c900-TPO and they wouldn't even be recognized by Mac OS X 10.4.3 (8f1111g) without a Info.plist edit in Apple3com3c90x driver in IONetworkingFamily.kext. with the plist edit I get (booting natively): Apple3com3c90x: createSupportObjects failed anyone have any idea what the hell is going on and/or how to fix it? I've tried compiling the latest Apple3com3c90x driver release with Xcode 2.2 under VMware and I receive: Command /Developer/Private/jam failed with exit code 1 anyone have any idea how to fix that? Then perhaps I could compile the I386generic platform kexts for all of us suffering from that IOPCCard start failed stuff. I hope. Thanks for any input! -Colin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5918-3com-3c905-and-3c900-no-longer-work-in-1043/ Share on other sites
