weirdlookinguy
It won't run on my P4 SSE2. It loads and the menus work, but clicking on stuff does nothing. Is this because I don't have SSE2 or Quartz Extreme working? Will installing the Maxxuss patch for SSE2 help in any way? Also where can I get this patch, I started torrenting it and it stopped at 40%. Will someone seed please, or PM me the file? Thanks so much. Pentium 4 2.5Ghz Northwood (SSE2, no SSE3) 512MB RAM 10.4.8 AMD SSE3 version (worked without a hitch on my Intel) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58961-imovie-06/ Share on other sites
weirdlookinguy
OK nevermind, looks like I need QE and CI to use iMovie. Can anyone suggest a $100 to $150 AGP card that is supported that can handle QE and CI? clkvang
I got a 89 dollar 7600gt from newegg. It's fully supported and fast. Plus mine can do dual monitors if needed. weirdlookinguy
7600gt.... I'll keep an eye out for it next time I go to Fry's. I just got a stick of 512 yesterday to bring my ram total to 1 gig and my system feels more responsive now. Is the 7600gt hard to install (software-wise)?
