BJMoose Posted August 3, 2007 Share Posted August 3, 2007 I've copied Dictionary, iSync, and Mail from a working install of OSX86 to my apps in uphuck's v1.4r3. Mail and iSync seem to work just fine. When I launch Dictionary however, after entering a word and pressing OK, the search wheel continues spinning ad infinitum. Is there a database I need to copy also? Any clues to where it's hidden? The Dictionary proggie I copied was only about 3+mb in size. Thanks for any help with this. Zacharydz Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 try copying the two .dict files from /Library/Dictionaries (New Oxford American Dictionary.dict and Oxford American Writers Thesaurus.dict) from another mac to yours.
