dandy27
Hi, im new. Can anyone help me with this. I am trying to understand how to get the best quality from IDVD when creating slideshows and burning to DVD to display on a TV. Currently I gather my images together in Iphoto, create a slideshow, which creates a quicktime movie, then import it into IDVD ready to burn. When I display this on a large 37inch LCD the images looked very blurred and lacks alot of reolution loss. Does it make any difference if i was to create the slideshows directly using IDVD instead of making them in Iphoto first. Is it just fact that large screens will not display the images as good as a 24 inch will. I set them up to create in 4:3 mode If i am talking a load of rubbish, can anyone advise me of the best way to take a series of images create a slideshow and burn to DVD to use on any screen which will look good. By the way my images are Jpegs set up to a resolution of 1800x1200. ( Am i using the wrong resolution?????) I would love to hear your views on this. Panther
Make sure when you export the images as a movie to not export them at the lower quality of Web. Up the quality of the video and that may help your issue. Another great way to make nice slideshows with your photos is PulpMotion. You can use special ways that iPhoto/iDVD can't. I have used it and amazed people.http://www.pulpmotion.com/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58800-quality-of-images-using-idvd-and-displaying-them-on-a-tv/#findComment-421603 Share on other sites
