Mr. Bullfish
I just did an install of OSx86 (2nd partition of primary hard drive), and everything proceeds normally through the boot sequence until it's time for the login screen to come up, at which point the monitor goes off, and the power indicator light switches from green to orange (indicative of standby mode or no signal from the computer). The actual computer itself continues running and minding it's own business - at least that's how it appears, I can't actually tell what's happening. Booting with messages enabled showed no errors of note. P4 3.0GHz, 1GB Ram, ATi x300 128MB, 80GB HD on a 37.5GB partition. The install went well as far as I can tell - but I can't get to the login window due to the above problem. ---
Mr. Bullfish
A small update: I removed the x300 and used the onboard graphics driver - OS X worked....but I somehow lost all USB support. (And with both Mouse and Keyboard being USB....)
