Siro
Hello, Since I have been having trouble in getting sound output on my sigmatel 9227 , I have decided to buy a USB sound card instead : Sound Blaster Digital Music LX USB (External). From the HCL list on the wikipedia website it has been mentioned to be working flawlessly with 10.4.8 but what I wanted to confirm is whether any person in here on the forums has used it or not and has it worked or not? The Creative Xmod is quite expensive and not available in our part of the world and this is the only cheapest solution available that I can put to use for the time being , so any input from you guys whether is it working or not could go a long way in helping me decide whether to order it or not. Hoping for a reply really soon. Siro Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58790-sound-blaster-digital-music-lx-usb-external/ Share on other sites
frizbot
I haven't tried it. The Turtle Beach Micro is supported by OS X however, and includes 3.5" output and SPDIF/TOSLINK output. I'm looking to replace mine with something PCI, but there is little OS X soundcard support.
