reku Posted August 2, 2007 Share Posted August 2, 2007 ive been diligently searching the forums and the HCL's about the possibility of natively installing osx 10.4.8 or 10.4.9 over an Intel Q965 board, however, i've no luck confirming whether such is possible or not. The HCL's include the 945 series as well as the 975 series, but no mention as to the 965, neither is the 965 board listed on the incompatible list. So, can anybody please tell me if a native installation of osx 10.4.8/9 possible on an Intel Q965 board? My pc specs are: Intel C2D E6400 2.13GHz Intel Board DQ965GF ICH8D0 NVIDIA GeForce 8600GTS 1024 DDR2 memory Seagate 250G HD Samsung TSSTcorp CD/DVDW SH-S182M Thanks! laddyboy Posted November 22, 2007 Share Posted November 22, 2007 I have a Lenovo 8808 with Q965/ICH8R and I've installed UPHUCK 10.4.9 V1.4I_R2 HD sound didn't work and I found a patch for it. Onboard Lan doesn't work either. I am trying to find a patch for it. The GMA 3000 video has only 1 setting 1024x768. via9 Posted December 19, 2007 Share Posted December 19, 2007 my DQ965gf board with dual-core cpu has not allowed install of ANY of my osx's today as I was searching the forum for info, I noticed your post from August-07 Question: were you getting any error messages when starting your install? mine were fatal, but I don't recall what they were at this time. I do recall never booting as far as the gui I tried 2 versions of uphuck, plus an older intel/amd with SSE patches Question: if you got errors starting the install, what did you do to correct?
