First, some backstory on my sad, sad tale.

I tried installing JaS 10.4.8 on my Toshiba Satellite A130-ST1313, but it wouldn't recognize my laptop's hard drive. Uphuck 10.4.9 would, but it wouldn't boot after I installed it, but it could at least see the hard drive. (JaS 10.4.7 didn't work on my system).

So I hook up an external hard drive (via USB) and install it like that, just to make sure my hardware could actually run OS X. This works. I then boot up uphuck 10.4.9, and do a disk restore onto the OS X partition of my laptop hard drive. I attempt to boot OS X (using the Windows Vista bootloader and chain0), but it still stops at "Still waiting for root". I have tried all the different boot flags on the Technical FAQ of the OSx86 wiki.

My drive is partitioned as follows: 1.5 GB unpartitioned space (this is where the Toshiba Tools partition was), 48 GB NTFS (Windows Vista), and finally 6 GB HFS+ (OS X).

Suggestions?
