Solution...Two Machines - One LCD with Two inputs (software switching)

My LCD has a Two inputs(one analog(OSX)- one digital(PC))

with NO simple button for switching between the two(takes 7 button pushes to switch inputs)

 

However, blanking ONE display Input with the proper software causes the LCD to

switch to the other input(works back and forth)
