megadeth_sp Posted August 1, 2007 Share Posted August 1, 2007 Hi, I got a Acer Aspire 5630 (Core2Duo T5500, 1GB RAM, video intel GMA950, network broadcom 440x, intel wireless 3945) and i installed the Uphuck v1.4ir2 10.4.9. All went great (sound, video), but the the netwotk (broadcom 440x) didn´t work. When i open System Pref. control painel and click on network icon the control panel closes ! e gives a error message. }How do i fix it ? And about the intel wireless i red already in other posts that don´t hava a solution yet.. is that true ? Any help is welcome !!!! Thanks !!!! megadeth_sp Posted August 21, 2007 Author Share Posted August 21, 2007 HI .. after spend a lot of time rading the tips, i found the solution for broadcom 440x, first boot on windows xp and go to network places -> proprieties then go the broacom and also open proprieties windows ... now click in config and go to advance .. in WakeUp capabilities choose Magic Frame from the menu ... then click OK. and go for install uphcuk 10.4.9 1.4 r3. it works ...
