RnO
Once again I am seeking help, this time regarding the macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg image. When I burn and install it, it gives me a grey screen that hands with, after a while, the crossed circle in the middle. In -v mode I believe it's the "device not working properly". Now I had patched my 10.4.1 version with the PPS maddox/jas patches available out there, but it got my updated version (which worked) incredibly slow. I just would like to know if I need those patches in order to help me install the 10.4.3 dvd, or if for some reasons the newer version supports less hardware than the previous one. Here is my CPU-Z screen as it may help determine what (if) patch I may need. Thanx a bunch. Technobob
You need to download new patches for 8F1111 have a look for JaS's PPF files. Here is a link but not sure if your CPU has NX support but this should get you started. 1111a SSE3 No NX/DX PPF Patcher http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=5708&hl= Edited December 16, 2005 by Technobob Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5860-1043-dvd-doesnt-boot/#findComment-36962 Share on other sites
