Ger23
Hello everybody, I tell you what's happening with my Mac OS X 10.4.3 8f1111 release. I've a P4 1.7Ghz with 765Mb RAM. I successfully installed this OSX version with SSE2 and withouth NX/DX, and the system runs very very well. I have sound, I have network, my PS/2 keyboard and my USB Wireless mouse works fine. Everything works fine. I can run iTunes, Safari and all OSX included software withouth problem. But I have an error that I don't know why happens. If I boot the system, everything goes okay. It boots very fast, and all works very fast, but, if I work with it, after a while, it could be 15, 30 minutes, it's not always the same time, shows me the typical crash when the screen turns deep gray and shows the message in 4 languages. But, if I boot the system and I leave in there, not work on it, never crashes, I leave it for 2 hours and when I return it's working perfectly. So, anybody is having the same problem or know why it could be happen?? Thank you a lot for your time. Oh, and if you would like to know all the steps about installing it successfully I will post it. I change the installation info for the solving error info Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5853-crash-message-appears-randomly/ Share on other sites

MacFeast
Boot with mach_kernel debug=0x14e as command line (hit F8 at boot). Then the four-language error message will be replaced by a more detailed error. Then search for it here on the forum. I've got a similar problem, this is my error message: panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0019BEB2): Unresolved kernel trap (CPU 0, Type 0=divide error), registers: CR0: 0x8001003b, CR2: 0x00749000, CR3: 0x00d55000, CR4: 0x000006a0 EAX: 0xfffffff8, EBX: 0x0b273dec, ECX: 0x02f877f2, EDX: 0x02faf07f ESP: 0x0b273db4, EBP: 0x0b273e14, ESI: 0x02f877f2, EDI: 0x0b273dec EFL: 0x00010202, EIP: 0x0019a2d6, CS: 0x00000008, DS: 0x01c30010 Debugger called: <panic> Backtrace, Format - Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack) 0xb273c80 : 0x128b42 (0x3b8ce0 0xb273ca4 0x130c68 0x0) 0xb273cc0 : 0x19beb2 (0x3bde9c 0x0 0x0 0x3bdb84) 0xb273d70 : 0x196647 (0xb273d84 0xb273e14 0x19a2d6 0x48) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/5853-crash-message-appears-randomly/#findComment-38433 Share on other sites
