ivol Posted December 23, 2007 Share Posted December 23, 2007 I have the same problem. My Sapphire x1950 xtx (dev is 7240) runs fan at full speed. Searching on the web I found a program that tells you what card Leopard detects when loading driver, and in my case shows dev id 7260 and 256 MB video mem. This issue has been going on for quite literally years and only JJcool has come close with the 1950XT Kext? My card runs perfectly on dual screens but the fan is hella loud!
