Synaesthesia
Your dell should work fine with any cracked version. Uphuck, jas and tubgirl releases are sure to work fine. Your older computer won't really run os x, sorry Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58347-which-version-of-os-x/#findComment-416673 Share on other sites

Synaesthesia
tx man... tx a lot.. but im afraid about sound issues... and will i get the macbook type of touchpad operation in my notebook? Try to find out exactly what sound card you're computer has (in control panel - > system - > device manager (somewhere around there)) Then visit this thread -> Sound solutions and will i get the macbook type of touchpad operation in my notebook? You mean two-finger scrolling? The touchpads usually work, tapping and stuff as well, scrolling usually doesn't. The price you have to pay! For more information on hardware issues, search the forum, as well as the wiki compatibility list... GodAtum
Hi there. I've got the same problem as well. I burned it onto DVD RW not a DVD R. Does that make any difference? I also thought that 1.06GB is too small. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58347-which-version-of-os-x/#findComment-417653 Share on other sites
aku
@godatum... man.. its been precisely mentioned in all tutorials that you have to burn the image in a dvd-+r and not a rw... i guess this'll solve ur prob.. btw .. wat i think is... the 1.4i r2 doesnt contain ant ppc binary.. not sure abt rosetta.. letz see wat others havr to say... well.. i think uphuck wont suit me.. so im downloadin jas 10.4.8... but aint gettin good speed.. if any kind soul out there would like to hepl me by providing me a torrent file of the above... i'll be really grateful... GodAtum
Yeah, jas 10.4.8 is downloading very slowly. I've read a lot of the tutorials, but none of them mention if I should format my partition. Should I format it to FAT32 or leave it unformatted? damesj
How do I disable core duo. I've got a HP nc8430 laptop running Vista with ATI X1600 with an ATA HDD. You can disable it through BIOS. Can I ask why would want to disable it when your running Vista?
