MaCNooB3.0
Hey guys, I am trying to install (Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2]) and I also have (uphuck_10.4.9_v1.4i) dvd. I have just formated my PC and installed a fresh copy of windows XP I also created 2 partitions, one that has XP and the other I formated to FAT32 using windows disk manager utility. Now here is my problem guys., when I insert any of these DVD's nothing happens! I just get the following error: system config file /com.apple.boot.plist not found. I have been searching around the forum and the people who asked about this error already succesfully installed MAC OS X at least once, but I havent. Cant even get it 2 boot. I will be etternally greatful if anyone can take a minute and try to help me out. I also have demonoid invite so I would be happy to hook someone up for helping me. Ok so on to my sistem system specs: Toshiba Satellite Laptop Pentium 4 ® 2.8 ghz Texas Instruments PCI-1410 cardbus controller my hard disk says: IC25N060ATMR04-O (thats what it says in device manager) I can supply more specs, just dont know what all to post. Shadowu0083
ecarro13 is correctwith Jas 10.4.8, hit F8 and type -v, it will boot. If you are using uphuck 10.4.9 v1.4 you have to hit any keys going into boot. I tried both and thats the difference. If you just boot the DVD without hitting any keys of F8, your system will boot to DVD as a regular OS, which in a real Mac, you can boot to a screen to help you access Disk Utility. Hope this will help you.
