Hi everybody, I already did a search on this forum to get an answer about this issue: I want to install OSX on a Asus P4V8X-MX with a P4 Northbridge with Uphuck's v.1.3 DVD, but I'm always getting a kernel panic on boot. I already tried JaS 10.4.8 PPF1+PPF2, and had the same problem.

I've used this same processor with a different mobo, so, I think the problem could be there (it has a VIA chipset). And I know some people were able to install OSX with this mobo, so, my question is: What am I doing wrong? Do I need some special patches?

thanks

Try downloading the uphuck 1.4i it might solve some problems.

I'm currently running on a Intel 3.0Ghz D chip, Asus P5VD2-VM 1Gig Ram 256 PCIe nvidia 7200.

I do have one question about the motherboard, i have 1Gig ram installed, when i go to the system bios is says : INTALLED RAM 1GIG

USABLE RAM 256M

So my system only runs on 256M of ram, is this a bios setting or something?
