Wireless 802.11n Network Slow Slow Slow

Hi,

 

I recently decided i wanted to move all my computers to using wireless 802.11n instead of wired. to my surprise what was supposed to be a faster system is dead dead slow. transfer from computer to computer is about 1.5 meg a second instead of max 30 meg/s that i should be getting.

 

i am using a d-link router.

 

can someone please suggest what this might be? this is not happening with wired connection.
