I have a Dell Dimension 4600

Windows XP Pro w/ service pack 2

CPU: P4 2.80 GHz (I believe it's SSE2 but i'm not entirely sure)

RAM: 2 GB

HD: 1 x 80GB w/ 62.5GB of free space (this is where i would install OS X)

1 x 160GB w/ 48GB of free space

Video card: Leadtech Nvidia 6600 GT

Sound Card: SB 24-bit Live!

Will the Jas Mac OS X 10.4.8 work with my setup?

Let me know if you need additional info. Thanks for your help!

Yes u can install it on your PC but u need to give a little bit more info what type of hardrive do u have SATA, EIDE what? Also you need to be sure what type of processor you have weather is SSE2 or SSE3 cause u could think that you have SSE2 but then find out that its SSE3 and install the wrong patch. Also what bus is your Graphics card is it AGP or PCIe.

Your PC seems to be just fine! One thing that wont work is the sound blaster live and I dont think that you will get AGPGart to run on an Intel AGP platform. The system will run just fine but a little bit "choppy" without proper support for the AGP bus. Is there anyone who can confirm the status of AGP on Intel chipset? visit www.x86dev.org to learn more about AGP support on hackintoshes.

i have a different sound card (SB 5.1 digital i think), so that solves that problem...but from what i've read about AGPGart, it doesn't seem like my AGP video card will function very well (or it requires a lot of tweaking and messing with drivers that I really have no clue about)

doesn't look like i'll be able to do the dualboot =\

if anyone has any suggestions or comments about ways around the AGP issue, or anything else, feel free
