mks2000 Posted July 26, 2007 Share Posted July 26, 2007 Very nice work, thanks for all so far! I successfully completed the installation on a separate Harddisk. But when I try to boot from the Harddisk, it stops at some point. I try this on an IBM thinkpad x31. After it displayed something like "Enabling SSE 3 emulator" it says this and then hangs: "using 2621 buffer headers and 2621 io buffer headers". It wont go on, and I have to unplug the power, to restart. I boot using -v and also tried -x. I already found some answer here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/i...php/t17420.html But this doesn't seem to be exactly the problem that I have, since I already installed on the Harddisk, so I have a mac partition etc.. Thanks in advance, if anyone could help this would be great! I used uphuck 10.4.9 and I think I can't choose basic packages only or customize installation at all there?...
