pcfreek14
When my Dell E1705 turns of the display after so many idle minutes it will not come back up. The system still runs actively in the background, i just am not able to see anything. What is causing this? Please help!! This is the only thing wrong with the system. Getting this far is going to be pretty much all wasted if i can't get the monitor to stop from burning out. Thank you in advance for any ideas Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58139-display-will-not-come-back-up-from-sleep/ Share on other sites

VGA? you need to provide much more info for people to be able to even begin to help. pcfreek14
The drivers were my frist thought. Everything i tried did not help. Its the GeForce 7900 GS. I've used both the NV40 Drivers from JaS 10.4.8 and the Diabolik's NATIT Nvidia drivers. Both are no help. I'm using OSX 10.4.10. 8.9.1 kernel. I'm Using the laptop display (17" WUXGA) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/58139-display-will-not-come-back-up-from-sleep/#findComment-415437 Share on other sites
