On separate, clean installations of OSX I have installed an Airport card-- Netgear WG311T on the first (Atheros) and Buffalo AirStation 125 WBR2-G54S (Broadcom) on the second. Both are recognized as Airport, but neither of them will connect to ANY network. Error: There was an error joining the network xxxx. I have tried both secure and non-secured networks. If anybody has had this problem before and can help me out, I would appreciate it dearly. My home network has WEP encription.
