Hi all, I'm new to these forums, Registered just for this!

Anyway, I wonder if anyone could help me?

I'd love to install OSX86 on my laptop, I've got a disk Image, burned it, And my laptop reads the disk, Then a message appears, describing a kernel panic :(

I'm Using a Compaq Evo N1015v Laptop

AMD XP 2000+ 1.8Ghz

512MB RAM

RADEON IGP 320M Graphics Card

SoundMax Digital Audio

Realtek RTL8139C Ethernet Port

The Image I downloaded calls itself: __MacOSX__10.4.7-AMD-Intel-ISO-Repack

burnt onto a Xidex DVD+R

Some advice please:

  1. Can I actually run OSX86 on this hardware?
  2. Is there a better, Or more compatible image I could obtain?
  3. Am I doing something wrong? Is there an advanced option that I'm not using, etc
  4. Has anyone else had/got this Laptop, And successfully installed OSX86?

Thanks in advance for any help, I really do appreciate it.

Hmm, Ive tried even more googling and still Can't seem to find anything. Any ideas anyone?

I don't think Ive found a solution, More of a dead end. Im not entirely sure my processor supports SSE2,

Thats most likely why.

Damn it :D

If anyone has anything to add.. Please do.
