arcade16
I have been surveying this site for many months and have decided to join in the venture of installing mac os x on my dell pc. I am almost finished downloading my Jas iso and will attempt the install process in a day or so. I was wondering if i could get a heads up in advance what aspaects of my hardware could be problematic. I have a: Dell XPS m1210 Intel core duo 1.66 ghz 1 gb RAM Integrated intel wifi card - (i know this does not work, how can i make it work??) and if you need more info just ask.... Mebster
Try and check the wiki for these types of info first. Assuming you try and install Jas 10.4.8 I've looked up on your system here in the wiki. Issues are Processor:Seems you need to disable one of the cores of your processor. Wireless: edit plist. Ethernet: edit kext. Audio: Partially working. Webcam: Not working Built in card reader: Not working Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/57955-downloading-now/#findComment-413990 Share on other sites
