ila225
Hi All!!! This is just my new post, and while I'm downloading an image of MacOS x86, I'm trying to understand and get ready for it, I'll go "get the Tiger", but there are a lot of compatibility issues, patches, terms that I don't know and you guys talk about them like if everyone could should know it for granted. Not complaining, just explaining. Is there a post or site in which I could understand better what the SS2, SS3, PAE, Maxxuss and so on? Or, we could also have a nice conversation here, hehe. Tks in advance, hope to post some screenshots here soon, as well to add my setup to the HCLs! ila225
Hehehe, tx for the SSE2 info, Now, about the image, I found a bittorrent image named "Tiger_for_x86pc_(by_Viper).iso". This one seems to have all the patches. My problem now is that it is on 83.7% since yesterday, and no more data is comming. Already restarted my bittorrent client, but no progress. I looked at opendarwin.org and just found the Darwin 8.0.1 iso. From what I have read on the net, there were lots of problems with the 8.0.1 that were corrected in the latest releases. Should I try the Darwin 8.0.1? Also, I'm completely scared about the idea of getting and compiling it from opensource.apple.com, hehe.
