guruuno1
I've tried a gizillion things, all I wanna do is wake up a hard wired Ethernet connection to my Intel iMac from anywhere on the road, and can only do so with utilities from another PC on the LAN, no success from any WAN connection. I know my "real world" IP address, even if & when it changes. (dyndns.org) I've assigned a static IP for my iMac. (192.168.1.xxx) I've forwarded UDP Port 9 on my router to the nat IP of the iMac (192.168.1.xxx). I've checked the box in Energy Saver to Wake for Ethernet network administrator access. Tried WakeOnLan 0.88 Application and Dashboard Widget from readypixel.com, only works via another PC on the LAN, doesn't wake up from outside world. Tried tools on broadbandreports.com, does not work, period. Why should this be so difficult? Am I missing something?
