Hello.

recently bought Asus A8V-VM SE and Nvidia 7300 GS PCIe with 256MB specifically to create a Mac system ... expecting installation to be straight forward which it was, however I still have only the one default resolution of 1024x768. Can't really appreciate Mac OS without 1280x1024 on my LCD.

Everything else went perfectly using TubGirl's latest amd release, installing onto an IDE HDD, all goes pretty fast.

I've tried Natit 0.1 and 0.2 to no Joy. Also tried Titan with no Joy either...

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've bought this relatively cheap hardware to get MAC OSX going how it should be, and I don't wish it to be bought in Vain. icon2.gif

Thank you,

Theo

I actually also have this problem, but not quite the same way.

I've got several releases (10.4.7, .8, .9, and now the latest .10 SSE3 AMDVM) and in all I've had Natit running fine (even dual monitors going) with my Geforce 7600GS but with tubgirls latest, I can only get 1024x768 mirrored, no QE/QI.

This is pretty silly but I think tubgirl screwed up and it's the release, not the drivers.

you can make fix resolution of screen ,like this :

hackintosh hd >Library > Preferences > SystemConfiguration > com.apple.Boot.plist

copy com.apple.Boot.plist to desktop, open it with Textedit .

<key>Boot Graphics</key>
<string>Yes</string>
	<key>Graphics Mode</key>
	<string>1280x1024x32</string>

add just this : <key>Graphics Mode</key>

<string>1280x1024x32</string> .

copy back com.apple.Boot.plist to folder where did it come ,and authorize it ....

restart your MAChine, now should work in full resolution ...

i solved same prob like that,i even didn't install any graphic driver .

Hi RZK,

the question is...it works in ATI cards as well, or just for nVidia ones?
