When i installed the Mac 10.4.8 and boot from dvd drive, i've following messages "AppleHDA.kext unable to locate layout_id properly". Whats wrong with this?? I have 1 HD and it has a 200gb NTFS partition (Windows Vista), a 15gb NTFS partition (Backup) and an unformated RAW partition which is 18gb which I plan to install OSX on. How do I do what u were saying? i read that Im getting this error because my audio device is HD. I have a PC downstairs.
