Ubertastic Posted July 21, 2007 Share Posted July 21, 2007 Right, so, I am attempting to install JaS 10.4.8 SSE3 (Intel Only) on my M1210 laptop. I boot from DVD to install OSX. After I see a gray apple screen (it disappears to black), my CD drive starts running for about 2 minutes then stops...leaving me with a black screen. Dell M1210 1 Gigabyte RAM 1.66 GHz Processor (Intel Centrino Duo) Intel GMA 950 (Integrated) Umm..any ideas? Uber. Sorry, I'm not exactly a veteran hardware user, but if it helps, I am not using any type of external monitor. I am only using the built-in LCD screen. Uber. EDIT: Oops, I forgot to mention (I see), this is a laptop.
