I currently put a script in /Library/StartupItems but it doesn't appear to be read and I need to execute the scritp manually on every re-boot. On boot it doesn't have any address so I can't establish an network connection until I manually set it. I'd like to have the addres automatically set on boot .. Then, add it to the dock, right click and select Open on Login, then remove it from the dock.
