Office 2004 crashes

Hi, first of all, I didn't managed to find any topic about this, so, sorry if there is already a answer to this.

 

My problem: After updating my hackintosh 10.4.8 JaS to 10.4.9, Microsoft Office 2004 started crashing. Other rosetta apps like Disk Inventory X continue working, but others like iSerial Reader are not working too.

 

I would like to know if is someone else having this problem too, and where can I find log files describing what's happening when I open Office or iSerial.

Did you update to the newest Quicktime? I hear that it sometimes causes PPC (Rosetta) apps to not work.

Ok, I'm trying to open Quicktime to see it's version but now he's refusing to come to life

 

But I only installed some qt plugins and to unlock the "pro" edition to have full scren. I dont remember updating it.

I have problems with Office, too. I tried to install it but when I click on the install-icon nothing happens. If I drag the Office-files in the applications-folder in order to do a full install I cannot open Word or any other Office program. I just click on them and then - nothing.

And I cannot even choose rosetta to open it.

Any ideas?

 

Update:

Problem solved - I downloaded Quicktime Update, installed it and everything works now with rosetta.

The automatic update I did yesterday did not solve the problem, but the seperate download download did it!
