Hi,

Great community here. Ok. I've downloaded uphuck v1.3 but unfortunately wasn't able to install it in my core 2 duo system 2gb ram geforce 7600gt with a gigabyte 965p-s3 motherboard. When I runned the installer, I was never able to get any drives displayed in the installation, so I couldn't choose where to install it (I went into the disk utility, but it only showed my dvd and also a 120gb drive, although my hd is 250 sata, with vista and a 20gb partition prepared for macosx86, although in disk utily this partitions were not displayed). so...

i want a mac os. I dont want to spend too much on it, so I have two choises. buying a mac mini or building my own osx86 pc. the thing is that I want to purchase hardware that is known to run smooth as hell with least tweaking as possible (if any) to get osx86 running. any advice here? (talking about spending ~600 bucks, already have monitor)

thanks in advance guys for your feedback!

Definitely, see these instructions. They are very complete.

HOW TO: a $500 Hackintosh Pro with 10.4.10, 100% working

Hi. That looked nice, although I've looked on ebay for the machine it tels you to look and can't find it anywhere. I was hoping on a core duo system really, a really simple one. or also if someone knows how to avoid the problems I've had on my system on why I can't instal osx86, that would work too (will save me lots of cash)

else I will buy a mac mini and pimp it up. I'll buy the 600 one and purchase for 100 bucks 2 extra 1gb ram for a total of 2. then I'll might consider buying an intel core 2 duo t5500 processor for 200, but not anytime soon. I already have a main system to play games and heavy photoshop editing stuff, so I want a mac just to get around with it so I can buy in the future an imac probably (once news ones are out).

thats why I figured building an ox86 system or buying a mac mini. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
